About the Owner
At the age of 21, Klaus Larsen purchased his first apartment building in Denmark, taking on the ambitious task of renovating all 13 units within a span of less than three years. At 32, he immigrated to the United States with only $300 in his pocket and a set of tools, eager to pursue the American Dream. However, Klaus quickly discovered that his metric tools were of little use in a country that exclusively measured in inches and feet.
By 1998, Klaus had established his own home improvement business, which would eventually evolve into a roofing company in 2010. His dedication and expertise led to the company being recognized as a Preferred Contractor, a distinction awarded to only the top 2% of roofing professionals in the United States. This achievement is a testament to Klaus’s hard work and reputation, though it comes as no surprise to those who know him well.
Klaus has become renowned for his skill in preserving the historical integrity of antique homes, particularly through his innovative roofing solutions. His ability to combine meticulous craftsmanship with modern roofing technology has made him a standout in the field, earning him a reputation for safeguarding New England’s architectural heritage while ensuring its homes remain functional and weather-resistant.
Today, Klaus and his wife, Judi Larsen, continue to run Klaus Larsen Roofing as a small, close-knit company where employees and clients alike are treated like family.
