The Horse Barn
This Horse Barn is ready for its roof replacement! We know it's imperative to not leave a single nail left on the ground with animals walking about. That's why after the job is completed we scan the entire lawn with magnetic rollers to pick up any rogue screws, doing it the Klaus Larsen Way!
Drone Visual of Before
This drone visual allows you to take in the harsh state of the roofing on the horse barn. With water damage throughout the entire surface, you can imagine the storms these shingles have endured over its ten years. Now it is time to Put a Klaus on this Horse House!
Before Plywood Leak
This last image before the roof replacement shows the leaks that Jennifer and Walter were concerned about in their plywood decking. Not having the proper protection on your roofing may lead to this, which is why Klaus Larsen Roofing takes many measures and uses their industry leading materials to prevent this type of water damage from happening, especially after only ten years.
Roof Replacement Begins
The first step when replacing a roof is to strip the old roofing. This means removing all of the shingles and stripping down to the plywood decking. This way, we are able to identify the wood that has damage, is rotting, or is in poor condition, and go onto replacing that plywood to give your roof a fresh & healthy start.
Work In Progress
At this point in the roof installation process, the new plywood has been placed, getting rid of those water spots in the hayloft. Next, we used our Sealoron XT Deck Tape to secure all of the plywood boards together, preventing any wind or storms from doing any damage. After this, our Klaus Roofing Systems Ice & Water Seal Membrane is placed at the edge of the roof going six feet up, giving your roof that extra protection it needs to not have to worry about any water leaks. The workers in this photo are applying our Velora Synthetic Underlayment over the rest of the decking, giving this barn that extra measure of protection. Additionally, The homes property remains covered, protecting the home and also those precious horse hoofs!
