Klaus Larsen, owner of Klaus Larsen LLC partnered with Klingberg Family Centers in New Britain, CT to donate a roof to one veteran family and a VFW.
Standing tall in Rocky Hill, CT is the VFW: Post 2138, a building that has housed and benefited veterans for many years. Located on Main Street, it has supported veterans all across Connecticut and is a landmark for visitors and tourists.
Through shared experiences and the “buddy-buddy” program, veterans are connected by speaking openly or privately about what troubles them in their daily life. The importance of support, whether verbally or physically, is a concept that the VFW does not take lightly. Being safe is not an option; it’s a necessity.
Safety is very important to Klaus Larsen, the owner of Klaus Larsen Roofing. Partnering with Klingberg Family Centers, he wants his customers to feel supported in every way possible. Having a roof over a family’s head that leaks or falls apart is a scary thought and Klaus does everything he can to prevent families from feeling hopeless. Klingberg supports the families by providing the tools to help form unity. It’s a partnership that keeps communities together. Post 2138 is the second recipient of 2018 to receive a new roof from Klaus Larsen Roofing.
