Roof Replacement in Barrington, RI
Challenge
Mary Lou called Klaus Larsen Roofing out to inspect her roof as she had noticed a couple of pieces of shingles in her yard. Upon inspection, they found just a few missing tabs, or parts of shingles missing, exposing her shingles to the high winds coming off the ocean. During the inspection, they also found, to her surprise, that there was substantial hail damage as well.
Solution
She opted to call her insurance company and opened a claim. A member of the Klaus Larsen team was there to meet the adjuster on-site to help in putting the report together. The insurance company had both the adjuster’s report as well as a full report from Klaus Larsen Roofing. Imagine Mary Lou’s surprise when the insurance company agreed to pay for an entire roof replacement! The job took a full 5 days to complete. Mary Lou selected a designer asphalt shingle by IKO called Royal Estate and chose Mountain Slate for a color. She also opted to do copper metal for the valleys which took special attention and they actually tapered the valleys to be narrow at the top and wide at the gutter line. It looks amazing!
