This lovely single family home in Ellington, CT was in need of a roof replacement and we gave them just that! To start we tore off one existing layer of roofing materials and disposed of them properly. We then inspected and replaced one damaged sheet of plywood decking. Ice & Water Barrier was applied in two rows to ensure protection from all weather conditions and a Synthetic Underlayment was applied in the spots where there was no Ice & Water Barrier. We then installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System using Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the Dual Black colorway. To finish off this project, we installed a new ridge vent to keep consistent attic ventilation and gave both chimneys new lead flashings. This home is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!
The flashing here was in remiss, allowing water to seep in and cause damage. We applied wood shakes sourced from a cedar mill in British Columbia, and made sure the flashing around the chimney was renewed. Klaus Larsen works with all aspects of your roof. This Colchester, CT ranch style house with brick exterior was returned to its prime courtesy of IKO Cambridge Driftwood shingles.
We used architectural-style asphalt Tan shingles on this Colchester, Connecticut home. High quality materials that last are a high priority for us.
This late 50s era home in Colchester, CT had water leakage in several rooms. There was also issues with insulation between the dormer and the roof. We disposed of two layers of old shingles and replaced the rotted decking with new CDX plywood. The entire front shed roof deck was restored with Mule Hide purpose made flat roofing. Updated vents, flashing and a carefully preserved roof mounted satellite dish made this project a success.
