The process began with our crew carefully removing the old shingles, revealing the wooden decking underneath. This allowed us to inspect and replace any damaged or rotted boards, ensuring a solid foundation. Next, we installed the protective layers: SealoronXT Ice & Water and DeckTape, followed by VeloraOne Roof Underlayment. Together, these layers create a powerful barrier to keep leaks out and protect against moisture.

On this home in South Windham, CT there were two layers on the main section, in addition to an attached office area and garage. Multiple layers of failing materials can easily cause severe leaking. We removed and recycled all of the old shingles, and replaced any plywood that had been damaged by moisture. An Owens Corning Roofing System, in Brownwood, was installed as a full replacement. This came fully equipped with a VentSure ridge vent, new lead chimney flashing, a Velux solar-powered fresh air skylight and a Velux flex pitched sun tunnel. The new roof looks outstanding, and is protected by a Full 50 Year Warranty, so you know it will stay as attractive as it is functional.  

This ranch style house located in Uncasville, CT was in need of a new architectural asphalt shingle roof replacement. This home had both the main house and a studio addition which both needed new roofing systems. We stripped the existing roof and replaced all 13 sheets of plywood decking to ensure the structure of the roof. We then laid down Owens Corning Ice & Water Shield to provide protection from outside moisture.

For shingles, we installed Owens Corning Duration TruDefinition Shingles in the color Sierra Gray. This home had two existing skylights which also need replacing. We installed two new Velux Fixed Deck Mount Skylight with stain grade wood interiors and Clean Safe Glass.
