On this home in South Windham, CT there were two layers on the main section, in addition to an attached office area and garage. Multiple layers of failing materials can easily cause severe leaking. We removed and recycled all of the old shingles, and replaced any plywood that had been damaged by moisture. An Owens Corning Roofing System, in Brownwood, was installed as a full replacement. This came fully equipped with a VentSure ridge vent, new lead chimney flashing, a Velux solar-powered fresh air skylight and a Velux flex pitched sun tunnel. This ranch style house located in Uncasville, CT was in need of a new architectural asphalt shingle roof replacement.
