At this 1960's ranch home located in Berlin, CT we completely replaced the existing old roof. To keep out moisture and ice we installed Owens Corning Weatherlock G Ice & Water shield on top of the plywood decking. Then, we put on new Owens Corning Duration Shingles in the color Onyx Black. To ensure proper ventilation we installed 2 new vent pipe boots and a new bathroom exhaust vent hood with a built-in damper on the roof above the left side of the bathroom. This home also needed a new VentSure Ridge Vent to give ventilation to the attic.
Both the roof on the house and front face of the garage on this home located in Kensington, CT needed replacement. We first installed 15 brand new boards of plywood decking to maintain the structural integrity of the roof. Then, we laid down Ice & Water Shield and Synthetic Underlayment to provide a durable, tear-resistant layer to repel water and moisture from the interior of the home. For new shingles, we used Owens Corning Duration TruDefinition Shingles in the color Estate Gray. To top it off we removed and replaced the old chimney flashing with new lead flashing.
