This small one family home was in need of a roof replacement, so they called us at Klaus Larsen Roofing! Upon taking the job, it was made apparent that there were two layers of roofing material that needed to be stripped away. With the old shingles removed we then replaced 5 damaged sheets of plywood decking. Next, we began weatherproofing the home by laying down two rows of IKO Gold Shield Ice & Water Barrier. In addition to the Ice & Water Barrier, we also installed Roof-Gard Cool Grey Synthetic Underlayment as it adheres to the roof's surface and does an excellent job at repelling water. For shingles, we installed a Klaus Roofing System using IKO Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the Charcoal Grey colorway.
