I never had a roof done before. I appreciated that their approach was so holistic. They did not work off of my own ignorance about roofing work. They explained what needed to happen. My house was built in 1957 and had tongue groove roofing. Over time, the tongue groove roofing had separated so they put some plywood on it. This was a simple thing but I liked that they gave me a full understanding of the cost and the work that they were doing. I really looked at the long term value of the work that they were doing. They did not want to just get paid. They wanted to make sure that their work had a long term value.

Jeremy arrived right on time and went right to work in a very professional manner.  When he had completed the inspection and caulking we had a delightful chat during which I asked him for his thoughts on the condition of our roof.  He said it was in good shape for its age and I had a couple of more years with it.  I asked him if he could send me a quote on replacing it as we like to be proactive in these areas.  Much to my surprise he sat in his car and printed me out a formal quotation and explained the entire replacement process to me.  You can usually tell the quality of a company by the quality of its representative and his presentation.  Let me tell you Jeremy is a fine representative who represents a terrific company.  I have since researched his company additionally and I am thoroughly convinced that they will be a great company to work with and I can assure you they will be at the top of my list when it comes to roof replacement time.  If you try them I am sure you will agree.

This is my second time hiring Klaus Larsen for roof work. They did great work back in 2017 replacing my roof so they were my first and only call to repair my garage roof after a tree limb fell on it this winter, which included building supports for a few beams inside the garage that cracked. Pat and Drew did incredible work, answered all my annoying homeowner questions, and left the place looking immaculate. I hope my roof adventures are done for now, but it's comforting to know I will always have a great option in case I need to do more. Thanks, guys!

Jeremy was very professional and provided me with all the information necessary to schedule the job. he explained the process and answered all my questions. The technician, Peter, did a great job removing and installing new flashing and replacing and installing new shingles around the chimney. Good attitude. He did a neat and clean job. Thank you.

They were very timely and were right there when they said they'd be. I like my roof very much, and they were willing to make corrections as needed.  

Mike was there for us to solve any problem we had. He went the extra mile for us and fixed areas that needed fine tuning. Did an excellent job on the cupola and sun light installation. The drain on the flat roof was clogged and resulted in flooding our front porch during a heavy rain storm. I called Mike the next morning and he was there early to fix the problem.

Klaus did three other special jobs for me in addition to the roof. He added exterior lighting, a dryer exhaust and installed extra wood in a valley where water and ice was accumulating. They also did a great job picking up and had it all done in one day! He really went, as they say, the extra mile.  

Thank you for installing two new solar fans on our roof! After a tough winter, my wife and I feel much better knowing there is going to be a lot more circulation, pulling out moisture from our attic to prevent ice dams. An added benefit we've noticed is that it already feels much cooler in our house with this hot summer ahead. We appreciate all your efforts and the education you gave us on the topic. We will be back with you for anything roof related!

Extremely professional and skilled

I thought I reviewed before, but it looks like I forgot to. Anyway, my husband & I highly recommend Klaus Larsen. During a wind & rainstorm, the gutter in the backside of our house pulled out & twisted, hanging down. We were afraid that it might hit a window if another heavy wind came about and knew that it was beyond repair. We called a few roofing companies to come out to give us estimates. The other companies either never called us back or schedule a date and time to come out but never showed up! From the moment I called Klaus Larsen Roofing, everyone was very responsive and great to work with. The sales rep called 15 minutes prior to our set appointment to say that he was on his way. The office sends you a photo of the sales rep, so you know who to expect at the door! He was very knowledgeable, answered all our questions & was not high pressure at all. On the day that our gutter replacement was scheduled, there was a lot of snow on the ground, and it was only 19 degrees outside. I called the company & asked if they wanted to reschedule because it was so cold out & I didn't want the workers to freeze. I was told that they'd be fine & they would go ahead in the freezing cold and do the job as promised. They came out on time & replaced our gutters & downspout. They thoroughly cleaned up everything. Great company & great job! Pricing was good too. Not the cheapest, but you do get what you pay for. I highly recommend them!
