A homeowner in Glastonbury, CT, recently took steps to protect and enhance their home by replacing their old roof. The roof had aged beyond its effectiveness, showing signs of wear that could compromise the safety and integrity of the structure. Our team at Klaus Larsen Roofing replaced the aging roof with a durable, high-quality roofing system designed to withstand the elements and provide long-lasting protection. Using materials like Velora One Roof Underlayment and Sealoron XT Ice & Water Shield, we ensured every inch of the roof was properly sealed and secured. This new roof improves the home and elevates its curb appeal, giving it a refreshed and polished look. Now, the homeowner can enjoy peace of mind knowing their roof is built to last, no matter what the weather brings. The Klaus Roofing Way!
At this Dutch Colonial Revival home in Haddam, CT we completely replaced and restored this old 1930s roof. We installed new 1/2" CDX plywood decking over the existing structural framing to ensure sturdiness and protection for the home's interior. To protect this home from moisture and outside elements, we installed new Ice & Water from all the eaves, valleys, and around the chimneys, skylights, and roof/wall intersections. To give this home a new look we used Owens Corning Duration shingles in the color Estate Gray along with chimney flashing and vent pipe boot replacements.
This small one-family home in East Windsor, CT was in need of a new roof. We started this project by tearing away all of the existing roofing materials. After disposing of them properly, we replaced 5 damaged sheets of plywood decking. Two rows of Ice & Water Barrier were installed to protect the home from the elements. For shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System using IKO Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the Dual Grey colorway. To finish this job, we installed a ridge vent and replaced the chimney flashing and vent pipe boot. This home is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!
This was a 2 story Colonial with attached 3 car garage. Both Vent Boots and a Skylight Flashing Kit were incorporated into this roof. Disposal only consisted of one layer of shingles. We installed the traditional three rows of Ice & Water shield in all eaves and valleys. Another customary part of each job is providing a trailer to haul away all old roofing and job related debris. We even provide a portable toilet for the crew to use during the entire duration of the project!
