The roof on this lovely colonial home in North Woodstock, CT had seen better days and was in need of a roof replacement. We took on this project and began by tearing away and disposing of one layer of existing roofing material. After inspecting the roof decking for damage, we found 3 plywood decking sheets that needed to be replaced. With the new decking sheets in position, we then layed down two layers of Ice & Water Barrier to protect the house from rain, sleet, and snow. For additional water resistance, Synthetic Underlayment was adhered to the roof's surface in the spots that were not covered by the Ice & Water Barrier. When it came to the shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System, using Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the Harvard Slate colorway. To finish the job, we installed a ridge vent and replaced the chimney flashing as well as the vent pipe boot. This colonial home is good as new thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!

To ensure complete protection from outside elements we installed Ventsure Ridge Vents with a Weather Protector moisture barrier to provide top-notch consistent attic ventilation. This home had existing skylights that we replaced with a new Velux Fresh Air Deck Mount VS Skylight.
