This was a nineteen year old roof that had curling shingles. This can be caused by any number of things. If your attic is not vented properly, the trapped heat can cause the shingle material to warp and deteriorate. Improper instillation can also cause curling to happen prematurely. We gave this home the fresh start it needed with a new Owens Corning roofing system. This project, in Simsbury, CT included three rows of Ice & Water shield, new PERMA vent pipe boots and a Velux skylight.
Klaus Larsen LLC completed this roof at the Green Tea Restaurant, located in Simsbury, CT. This job required one layer of shingles, with three rows of Ice & Water shield in all eaves and one valley. We also flashed the cupola and provided a full ventilation system with a Solar Fan, keeping the atmosphere inside this restaurant consistently comfortable.
We updated this already beautiful home with a roof replacement and shingle color change!
Seeking a contractor to carry out a roof replacement, owners of this 2005 single-family home trusted Klaus Larsen Roofing with the job. We started by tearing off 1 layer of existing roofing materials, as well as replacing 3 layers of damaged plywood decking. Next we installed three rows of Ice & Water Barrier near roof valleys, eaves, chimneys, etc. For shingles, we installed Slate Grey. These shingles included a 10 year Algae-Resistance Limited Warranty as well as a 130 MPH Wind Resistance Warranty. Lastly, we installed a Vent to provide consistent attic ventilation. In terms of siding, we chose Mastic Carved Wood 44 Siding in the color Desert Sand. This attractive home is now complete with its new Klaus Larsen roof installment!
This ranch style single-family home in Guilford, Connecticut was in need of a new roof in a fast, efficient and productive manner. After tearing off two layers of asphalt shingles, we replaced 5 damaged sheets of plywood decking. In accordance with the new building codes, we made sure to seal all joints of the roof deck with flashing tape, while installing 2 rows of TriBuilt Ice & Water Barrier near all roof eaves, valleys, chimneys, etc. In terms of shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System with Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the color Dual Grey. In terms of skylights, we installed three new Velux Skylights. We finished the job by removing and replacing the existing vent pipe boots with brand new Perma-Boots.
