To top it off, for new asphalt shingles, we installed IKO Dynasty Architectural Shingles featuring a 1-1/4" nailing area made with a tough reinforcing woven band for incredible nail-holding power to protect the home against Mother Nature's fury. The homeowner choose the shingle color Frostone Grey for their new roof.
Jeff from Old Saybrook, CT, recognized the urgent need for a full roof replacement. His home, with its faded grey asphalt shingles, not only lacked the curb appeal he desired but also faced significant risks to its structural integrity. As roofs surpass the 20-year mark, they become increasingly susceptible to issues such as shingle deterioration and potential detachment, which can expose the decking beneath. This increases the risk of leaks, leading to water damage and possible rot of multiple plywood boards. By opting for a replacement, Jeff made the right decision. On the day of the replacement, our skilled crew gets to work, carefully removing the old shingles and preparing the surface. We apply SealoronXT Ice & Water Seal and VerloraOne Roof Underlayment to create a barrier against water infiltration, ensuring the new decking remains protected even in the harshest conditions. Finally, we install high-quality IKO Dynasty architectural shingles in the chosen color Frostone Grey, enhancing both the aesthetic appeal and durability of the roof. The Klaus Roofing Way!
