This Windsor home was getting persistent ice dams, centralized around the valleys of the roof. Proliferating damage was being done with each winter. To ensure the ice build up would not return, we applied a layer of Ice & Water shield on top of new plywood. We also added ventilation at the ridge, to invite air flow and melt any frozen precipitation. The finished shingles are 'Estate Gray.'

This newer model Victorian home in Windsor, CT underwent a roof replacement along with brand new frieze boards. We got started by tearing off a single layer of existing roofing materials and giving the wood roof deck a thorough inspection. All decking was re-secured where it was necessary with ring-shank plywood nails, and all damaged plywood was replaced.
