Roof Replacement Before & After Photos

We were brought out to East Hartford, CT to replace a poorly installed roof. The roof had multiple layers of shingles which is dangerous because additional layers trap more heat and could lead to a fire. It also damages the shingles which shortens the life span of the roof.

At this cape-style home located in East Hartford, CT we completed a full roof replacement on the main house as well as the garage. To provide total moisture protection from outside elements we installed Weatherlock G Ice & Water from all eaves, valleys, and around chimneys and roof/wall intersections. To keep the integrity of this home we installed brand new Owens Corning Duration Shingles in the color Slatestone Gray. To protect the chimneys from water damage we removed and replaced the flashing with new lead flashing. This home needed a new bathroom exhaust vent hood with a built-in damper on the roof which included a new flex duct from the fan to the hood. 

 At this 1963 colonial style home in East Hartford, Connecticut, we completely stripped and installed a brand new Klaus Larsen roofing system. We started the process by removing & replacing two layers of existing roofing material and five layers of damaged plywood decking. Next we installed three rows of Ice & Water Barrier near roof valleys, eaves, chimneys, etc. For shingles, we installed shingles in the color Brownwood. These shingles included an Algae-Resistance Limited Warranty as well as a 130 MPH Wind Resistance Warranty. Finally, we removed and replaced flashing on the chimney with new lead flashing. This home looks better than ever with its new Klaus Larsen roof installment!

This single-family home in East Hartford was in need of a new roof. We started the job by removing one layer of existing roofing material and replacing 30 sheets of damaged plywood decking.
