When we further inspected the roof we were able to determine that it needed to be completely replaced. We first stripped the existing roof and hauled the old shingles to the Asphalt Roof Recycling Center in Stratford, CT. We then replaced any damaged plywood decking and laid down Owens Corning Weatherlock G Ice & Water Shield to protect the home from any outside moisture. For shingles, we used Owens Corning Oakridge Shingles in the color Brownwood. In addition, we installed 3 brand new Velux Fixed Deck Mount Skylights with a 20-Year No Leak Warranty. This homeowner can now face the upcoming winter months with complete peace of mind. 

This raised ranch in East Granby, CT was in need of a new roof. To start the process we removed 1 layer of existing roofing materials and replaced all damaged plywood decking. We then installed 2 rows of Ice & Water Barrier near all eaves, valleys, chimneys etc. In terms of shingles, we installed Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the color, Weatherwood.
