This single-family home located directly on the lake in Andover, CT was in need of a new roof. After tearing off one layer of existing roofing material, we replaced 5 damaged sheets of plywood decking. We then installed 2 rows of ice & water barrier near all roof eaves, valleys, chimneys, etc. In terms of shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System with IKO Cambridge Shingles in the color Driftwood. We then installed a Ridge Vent to provide top-notch consistent attic ventilation. We finished the job by removing and replacing the existing chimney flashing with brand new lead flashing. This lake house is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!

Kelsey in Andover, CT was urgently searching for a new roof after discovering leaks in two different spots on her 10-year-old roof. With her roof failing and needing immediate attention, she turned to Klaus Larsen Roofing, confident in our promise of a durable solution that lasts 50 years, not just a decade. To fix the leaks and ensure long-term protection, we first removed the old roofing and replaced any damaged plywood that was allowing water into the home. A crucial part of our process is applying a Sealoron XT Ice & Water seal along all roof edges, as well as a Velora One Roof Underlayment membrane. These advanced layers of protection guard against water infiltration, especially in vulnerable areas prone to ice dams and heavy rains. By sealing these critical spots, we provide an extra layer of security, ensuring Kelsey’s new roof stands strong against the elements and keeps her home safe and dry for years to come. The shingle color she chose for her new roofing is Granite Black. Kelsey is now worry-free with a beautiful and safe new roof. Put a Klaus on Your House!
