Colleen, a homeowner in Vernon, CT, recognized it was time for a roof replacement and turned to Klaus Larsen Roofing for help. The process began with a thorough inspection of her roof to assess its condition and identify any underlying issues. Once the old shingles were stripped away, we inspected the plywood decking for damage, replacing any compromised boards to ensure a solid foundation. Next, SealoronXT Deck Tape was applied to seal gaps between the plywood, followed by a layer of SealoronXT Ice & Water for enhanced protection in vulnerable areas. The rest of the roof was covered with VeloraOne Roof Underlayment, a durable barrier designed to prevent leaks and reinforce the roofing system. Colleen chose IKO Dynasty shingles in a color that perfectly complemented her home in Summit Grey, providing not only a beautiful finish but also long-lasting durability. The final result? A stunning, secure roof replacement completed with expert craftsmanship and care—the Klaus Roofing Way!
