Roof Replacement Before & After Photos

New roof on a home in Vernon, CT. The home had missing shingles and several leaks. 

This single family was in need of a new roof! After tearing off two layers of existing roofing materials, we replaced 4 damaged sheets of plywood decking. In accordance with the new building code requirements, we were sure to seal off roof deck joints with flashing tape. We also installed two rows of an ice & water barrier near all roof eaves, valleys, chimneys, etc. In terms of shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System with IKO Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the color Dual Grey. We finished the job by removing and replacing the existing exhaust vent hood with a built-in damper on the roof, which included a new flex duct from the fan to the hood. To keep consistent attic ventilation, we installed a ridge vent and we finished the job by replacing the chimney flashing and vent pipe boot.
